1. These terms and conditions apply to ZipTravel Romania and the participant/s at "On the Footsteps of Dracula" Tour. ZipTravel, part of Zip International Group, is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania, Calea Dorobantilor 49, Apt.2, Sector 1, tel/fax +4-021-2113082, +4-021-2106420, mobiles +4-0723-342410, +4-0722-888102, +4-0722-888104. ZipTravel is registered under fiscal code RO13431471 and in the Romanian Chamber of Commerce under code J40/9218/2000. It provides tourist arrangements and itinerary management so that the client receives services that include transportation/accommodation/guiding for the Tour “On the Footsteps of Dracula,” in Romania.
2. The client shall provide on the “Reservation Form” information required by ZipTravel, needed to book a place/places for the Tour “On the Footsteps of Dracula.” The client shall pay the reservation deposit that applies to the tour fare, cancellation charges or penalties.
3. ZipTravel accepts official applications for travel contracts by online form. The client shall fill out the “Reservation Form” from the "Get Estimates or Make Reservations" section and click “Submit”. Further correspondence between the client and ZIpTravel can be conducted by email, phone or fax. If so desired, the client/s can ask for an estimate of his/her vacation, using the Estimate Request Form from the "Get Estimates or Make Reservations" section.
4. The client shall submit the “Reservation Form” no later than 10 (ten) weeks prior to the arrival in Romania, if not otherwise instructed.
5. ZipTravel shall submit the Invoice with the expenses related to the Tour “On the Footsteps of Dracula” by email, upon receipt of the “Reservation Form” from the client.
6. The client shall submit the advance deposit to ZipTravel within 5 (five) days counting from the day the invoice is received, if not otherwise instructed. If the client fails to make the payment, the reservation shall be voided.
7. When applying for group tour arrangements, the terms and conditions including fare, cancellation or penalties, shall be exchanged between ZipTravel and the group representative.
8. Payment of the advance deposit constitutes client’s acceptance of the terms and conditions set out herein.
9. ZipTravel will be liable for arranging and administering the Tour “On the Footsteps of Dracula” as advertised on the website, at the “On the Footsteps of Dracula Vacation” link. Every effort will be made to accommodate any smoking/non-smoking special requests, dietary needs, physical needs, or extra leisure activities.
10. ZipTravel requires a 60% advance deposit per person. Final payment is due cash, upon check in at the accommodation facility, in Romania. The prices are set in EUR and converted to other currencies at the exchange rate from the day of the payment.
11. The client is at all time entitled to cancel the Tour, but must pay ZipTravel a cancellation charge. The charge consists only in the bank transfer fees for the refund, if cancellation is made 57 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date in Romania. The charge will be 50% of the advance deposit if cancellation is made 46-56 days prior to the scheduled arrival date and 100% of the advance deposit if cancellation is made 45 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival date.
12. ZipTravel may cancel the Tour in the event of a natural disaster, extreme weather conditions, civil unrest, governmental orders and other circumstances beyond ZipTravel’s control. When a Tour is canceled by the Firm, the client is entitled to a full refund of all money paid or to an alternative tour.
13. ZipTravel is not responsible for any expenses that the client may have incurred as a result of the booking, such as visas, vaccinations, flights, etc.
14. ZipTravel may cancel the Tour after the arrival date of the client in Romania, in the following cases:
a) When the client becomes sick or other factors; when the client disturbs the order of Tour activities; for violent deeds or actions that jeopardize the safety of the group or the operation of the Tour. In this situation, ZipTravel shall make necessary arrangements as requested for return to point of departure, at the client's expense.
b) When the Tour cannot continue due to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, civil unrest, suspension of services by transportation or accommodation facilities, governmental orders, or other causes beyond ZipTravel’s control. In this case, Tour services rendered to the client shall be deemed as having been completed, and a refund from the tour fare shall be paid for services not yet rendered.

16. Throughout the Tour “On the Footsteps of Dracula,” ZipTravel will provide an English-speaking guide. Arrangements can be made to accommodate other languages. The guide will organize the daily schedule according to the set program and the client’s needs, expectations and desires.
17. Throughout the Tour “On the Footsteps of Dracula,” ZipTravel will provide a group minibus/car with a group driver. The driver is at the group’s disposal for 8 hours a day, excluding lunch break.
18. If, in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions, ZipTravel causes damage to the client through willful negligence or fault, ZipTravel shall be liable for such damages. However, ZipTravel is not liable for any negligent or willful act of any third party or entity.
19. Any controversy or claim arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall be first settled amiably. If this is not possible, settlement shall be made in accordance with the rules of Romania.
