Snagov Monastery, the place where Vlad Dracula is presumably buried

Snagov Monastery is located close to Bucharest and is completely surrounded by water. Vlad Dracula died in 1476, most likely in a battle against the Ottoman Empire near Bucharest. The monastery was built in 1512, on top of the grave of Vlad Dracula. As a punishment for his deeds and for the fact that he converted to Catholicism during his imprisonment in Hungary, priests step on his grave during sermons. Next to the monastery, there are the ruins of a prison built by Vlad.
